Chocolate covered Marshmellow Ghosts

These ghosts will disappear as fast as you can make them appear. This recipe is a good one to let the kids help. Just be careful the "little goblins" don't get your ghosts.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Melt chocolate in a small double broiler or in microwave per instructions on chocolate.
  • Place one marshmallow on it toothpick
  • Dip marshmallows one at a time in melted chocolate, using toothpick to hold marshmallow.
  • Place marshmallows on wax paper.
  • Remove toothpicks while chocolate is still wet.
  • While chocolate is still wet place candies on chocolate covered marshmallow to form eyes.
  • Allow chocolate to dry before serving.
  • Marshmallows can be stored in an airtight container

Another variation on this recipe is to tint the chocolate with food coloring. If you tint the food coloring with orange you can make faces on the marshmellows to make pumpkins. By using different colors of food coloring and candy decorations these can be adapted to many party themes.
