Opera House projects

Jamestown Area Historical Society is a non-profit organization committed to the refurbishing  of area historical sites and buildings. Our present project is the refurbishing of the Opera House, (Images) located in downtown Jamestown. It is a dream of many area residents to begin renovating the opera house in the near future and restore it to its rightful place as a center of community Activities. Anyone having historical knowledge of the opera house such as newspaper articles, pictures, etc., is invited to share such items with the Society. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
